Habitat
Fifteen kilometres long and 1-2 km wide spit dividing a shallow, large lagoon and the sea. The station is located in the natural reserve. The area is covered with dense shrubs, mainly Australian Acacia, Eucalyptus spp., and some indigenous pine species. The nets are at the lagoon edge, mainly in the shrubs and some in the reedbed.
